Veterans Park District was recently awarded a 2022 PowerPlay! Grant from the Illinois Association of Park
Districts (IAPD). This $1,000 grant will assist our after-school program in implementing a model program that focuses on health, nutrition and fitness for the children. Funding and materials for IAPD’s The PowerPlay! Beyond School program are provided through the sale and subsequent renewals of the Park District Youth License Plate and through Friends of Illinois Parks.
