Exciting new and fun sports & recreation opportunities coming your way Spring and Summer 2022. VPD Board of Commissioners recently approved several new park projects throughout our district.
- New Musco sport lighting on the southeast corner of Bulger Park field will finish off the all-new field lighting.
- A new tot playground, poured-in-rubber playground surfacing, outdoor exercise equipment area, bocce ball courts and splash pad will be an enhanced addition to Kahl Park.
- Lattoria Park is being spruced up with decorative security lighting and ADA poured-in-rubber playground surfacing.
- New playground equipment, poured-in-rubber playground surfacing, an outdoor picnic area and kids fitness equipment are being added to Poshphalla Park.
- The recent open space development at Trumbull Park is all ADA, wheel chair accessible. The new park amenities include playground equipment, poured-in-rubber playground surfacing, running/walking track, bocce courts, track lights, outdoor exercise area, splash pad, outdoor bathrooms and all new parking lot.
