Pickleball — Adult Lessons
All lessons will be taught by Mel Phillips, RSPA Certified Pro at Bataan Park Pickleball Courts, 1220 N 9th Ave., Melrose Park. FREE 15-minute evaluation to determine your level and appropriate class. For appointment text Coach Mel at (708) 692-8852.
Beginner
For students with little to no experience or limited mobility. Emphasis on injury prevention and developing a consistent dink, drive, volley, serve and return. Introduction to scoring and point play.

For qualified experienced players that already have placement and control on a consistent level. Emphasis on more advanced techniques/strategies including slice, spins, 3rd shot drop, stacking and “kitchen firefights”. Point play with standard and rally scoring.

Pickleball — YOUTH LESSONS
Learn the basics of one of Americas fastest growing sports! Pickleball combines the many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. Simple rules make it easy for beginners to pick up the game fast and get in on the fun. Our instructor will teach participants everything they need to know about the basic rules, procedures and equipment involved with this enjoyable sport.

This new split class offers a taste of both Strong Nation™ and CIRCL Mobility™. Class starts off with body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. The second half of class focuses on flexibility, breathwork, and mobility exercises to help you move better and longer. Set to a soundtrack of healing tones + sound frequencies to help your mind focus and release stress.

Middle Eastern Belly Dance

Outdoor Yoga
Age 16+
Whether you’re new to yoga or returning to your mat after time away, this series will help you develop confidence, body awareness, and inner calm. Each week builds upon the last with simple movement, breath work, and mindfulness. You’ll learn foundational poses, breathing techniques, and relaxation practices to support strength, balance, and flexibility. Dress for the weather.

Chair Yoga
A gentle yoga class that is designed to maintain healthy joints, muscular flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination. Poses can be done using a chair or free-standing according to your abilities.
Fee: 55 & Older — pay $2 drop-in fee, no registration needed.
Under 55 — register and pay $40R/$55 NR (five-week sessions)
