Veterans Park District was recently awarded a $2,500 Step into Swim grant. It is the intention of the Step into Swim/Every Child a Swimmer funding to be utilized for relevant expenditures concerning providing quality, multi-level learn-to-swim programming, that expands opportunities for children to learn to swim. This funding allows Veterans Park District to make an impact in our community by offering free and or reduced cost swim lessons to our Summer Fun Day Campers.
