Veterans Park District was awarded a $2,500 Step into Swim grant. The intention of the Step into Swim/Every Child a Swimmer funding is to provide quality, multi-level learn-to-swim programming, that expands opportunities for children to learn to swim and is “crucial to saving the lives of our children”. This funding allowed Veterans Park District to make an impact in our community by offering free swim lessons to our Summer Fun Day Campers this summer.
