Veterans Park District, the City of Northlake and District 87 recently celebrated the renovation of Posphalla Park Playground.
In 2004, Veterans Park District entered into a partnership with the City of Northlake and School District 87 to develop Posphalla Park. The park is dedicated to Northlake resident Dale A. Posphalla, who lost his life in the Korean War. The newly renovated, ADA accessible park is located directly adjacent to Whittier School in Northlake. Veterans Park District parks are dedicated to local residents who bravely sacrificed their lives while serving in the armed forces.
