This July Veterans Park District Bulger Park was inducted into the Chicago 16 Inch Softball Hall of Fame.
Men’s 16 inch softball has been a tradition at Veterans Park District since the 1960s. Also, in 1970 one of the first women’s 16 inch softball leagues was created. Currently on the Bulger fields Veterans Park District hosts 16” Men’s League, Co-ed Mush Ball League and is in partnership with several local little league groups.
