Cimbalo Fitness Center, located in Melrose Park, offers a wide array of fitness classes for every interest and skill level.

Strong Nation®

Age 16+

This class combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music specifically designed to match every single move.

Dates: May 25-Jun 22 and Jul 6-Aug 3

Zumba®

Age 16+

This dance-inspired total body workout combines all elements of fitness: cardio, muscle conditioning, balance, and flexibility. Latin music and easy to follow moves provide a fun, energetic class that will make you forget you’re even exercising! Choose from Monday nights or Thursday nights at Cimbalo Fitness Center.

Pump and Sculpt

Age 16+

Offering the challenge of adding resistance by using light weights, this class helps you focus on specific muscle groups so you can stay engaged and firm up.

Dates: May 22-Jun 19 and Jul 10-Aug 7

CIRCL Mobility™ Release. Restore. Renew.

Age 16+

Based on the science of functional movement, this class focuses on flexibility, breathwork, and mobility exercises to help you move better and longer. Set to a soundtrack of healing tones and sound frequencies to help your mind focus and release stress.

 Middle Eastern Belly Dance

Age 16+

This dance form has been used for centuries for exercise, fun, and fitness. This class will strengthen your inner core muscles and improve flexibility. Please bring a hip scarf if you have one.

Pickleball Lessons

Youth Age 8-11 and 12-17
Adult Age 18+ and 50+

Learn the basics of one of Americas fastest growing sports! Pickleball combines the many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. Simple rules make it easy for beginners to pick up the game fast and get in on the fun. Our instructor will teach participants everything they need to know about the basic rules, procedures and equipment involved with this enjoyable sport.
All lessons will be taught by Mel Phillips, USPTA Certified Pro at Bataan Park Pickleball Courts, 1220 N 9th Ave., Melrose Park.
We are offering classes for youth, adults (beginner/advanced beginner) and adult (intermediate). Please check our Summer 2024 Program Guide for more information.

Pickleball Open Play at Bataan Park

Instructor supervised adult doubles open play (advanced beginner and intermediate levels only). Registration in advance is required. Weather dependent.

Chair Yoga

Yoga for the Actively Aging

A gentle yoga class that is designed to maintain healthy joints, muscular flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination. Poses can be done using a chair or free-standing according to your abilities.

55 & Older — pay $3 drop-in fee, no registration  needed.
Under 55 — register and pay $40R/$55 NR

Youth Fitness

Youth Boxing

Age 12-18

Learn the basics of boxing. Participants will practice how to throw a variety of punches, foot-work, and timing, as well as the strategy involved with the sport of boxing.
